Blog to end all blogs!

Hey, I'm like tired person so I am sleepy dude right now. It is about 9:30pm and I just feel tired.

So today we went to Disney land to do a redo of things we loved or didn't have the opportunity to do in the first place, it was a disappointment to see that the water rides were closed but we continued on to the Disney disneyland to go near space mountain. We went on the shoot em up game first where I owned everyone scoring a whopping 178 000 points.

I had just had breakfast so seeing as what it did last time to my stomach I decided to go on a different roller coaster while mum and Marc regretted their choice for the mountain.

While they did that dad and I went on the Matterhorn bobsleds for a ride, sadly we got put on the childish side of the Matterhorn so that prepared my stomach for the redo of it on the good side with mum and Marc.

After the Matterhorn we chose to go to the big thunder coasters ride which was a fairly long queue to get there but it was worth it to go for a second spin the slow ups building up to the spiraling downs was a great experience.

Then we went on a small coaster that we didn't go on last time before heading on a train ride around Disneyland Disneyland to get to the Indiana jones ride which we went on once where you notice things that you had never noticed before such as massive boulders rolling towards you face and a projection of rocks that you run into.

Then we had a little lunch before going back on Indiana for our final ride in Disney Disneyland. We went out to go to California adventure disneyland for
the other shoot em up game which I got owned at.

That was all we got before heading back home after Marc turning down a final ride, we headed to the airport and departed with dad so he could continue on a business trip while we started to blog at gate 121. We had dinner at the airport as well.

Last night dinner like lego land dinner was in down town disney for our last real dinner overseas :( I had a delicious full rack of ribs perfectly seasoned before falling to sleep at awesomely placed hotel right outside Disneyland.

UNGHRAH

Purple, Orange, Potato.

We headed out to DisneyLand for the World of Colour ( color in america ). It is a musical, water theatre performance thing with fountains and stuff. that looked really cool, they had all of these fountains and globes that went up in the air that had all of these colours projected onto them and you got wet and it was really awesome.

For breakfast we had the same rubbish stuff but it was all go, go, go to get to LegoLand California. It was hour and a half drive out to near San Diego to get there but it was definately worth it.

Well the things that i have best memory of was a pedal ride around LegoLand for a while and Marc and Dad didn't pedal but they still went anyway. Then we went on a seat thing where you had to pull yourself up which i was good at. Then we went to a castle area where we had a run around a playish area before going on a roller coaster called the 'Dragon' where it was a short action-packed ride where you go around a bit. Then we went on a crazy destiny ride where start spinning wildly.

Then we went to an Egyptian area where we had a shoot target ride that we went on twice, then Marc went back on the crazy spinning thing before we went on a cruise around the mini world place and went to a Mindstorms programming Lego game where you had to program bots to pick up items and stuff on Mars. We did that for 45 minutes and then looked around on foot before going home and blogging after the drive.

( no title )

So yeah LA, breakfast was really american disgusting stuff provided by the hotel so after that was over we headed to DisneyLand.

We got into DisneyLand and we went to the California Adventure Park first~ (will say the rides we did in order)

Redwood Creek- A childish kind play area that looked better than it was.
Toy Story shooting game- A little spin-around ride where you shot targets and stuff.
No. 1 Roller Coaster- A massive crazy coaster that i chose not to go on because breakfast would not agree with a loop-dy-loop.
Mickey Ferris Wheel- A Child-named Ferris wheel that freaked my dad out because the gondolas where attached to chains and they swung.
Monsters Inc.- A terrible ride which was boring in every concievable way.
Fly-by-california- A 3D no-glasses motion ride where you fly over California virtually, and one scene some people were playing golf and they hit a golf ball right next to us that Marc even ducked.

That was it for that land we had a little hot-dog for lunch before moving onto the DisneyLand in DisneyLand.

Jungle Cruise- They took you on an African safari set with a hilarious guide who made up all these puns about stuff.
Indiana Jones Ride- A roller-coaster ride which we went on twice and my dad was screaming all the way through.
Pirates of the Caribbean- A joy ride where there were only a few rough turns through a themed restaurant area.
Huanted House coaster- A coaster round a relaxing area where they had this really bad comedian loudspeaker voice.
Big Thunder coaster- A wet ride roller-coaster where we went in and out frequently
Matterhorn coaster- Another wet and wild coaster through waterfalls and sprays
Autopia- A drive yourself Race throught mud-water-gravel and grass.
Space Mountain- A crazy dark and faster roller-coaster that did not agree with an ice-cream i had earlier.
Buzz-Lightyear shoot stuff- pretty much the same as Toy-Story!

Finally we ended up going back to the hotel to blog

I am giving up with days!

After Marc and Dad got back from the Cinema we went out for happy hour foods down in the lobby, which was like a free entree to dinner, we weren't really hungry for dinner so we just went down to the restaurant down stairs for a fish and chips.

The next day we choose to rent a car after breakfast and go to the national air and space museum hanger where all the planes where held as well as a space shuttle. There were heaps of cool planes Concords (which my dad had flown in ), Blackbirds ( which my dad hadn't ) and B-29 Super-Fortresses that had dropped bombs on Hiroshima (My dad had not flown in that one). That was just to name a few there were monoplanes, flying wings and a whole bunch of other planes. In the space part the had missiles that could be dropped from space, rocket models and an actual Space Shuttle that had been into space. Then we went up in a control tower with a bunch of other noobs, but it was boring anyway so we went back down with more noobs.

Next we took our car to George Town which is the old part of DC which was full of embassies and annoying roundabouts. We also stopped to look at this mall which was disappointing so we wentback home for dinner which was the Capitol Hill pub bar restaurant thingymagicicallything. I had a shredded beef burger.

In the morning we went to the Airport really early like 5am. Which was infuriating because just yesterday i was in sync with the Washington time-zone. So we got there in a cab and did the american airline check in thing and past security we found out we had rubbish seats that were all apart, so my mum sweet-talked the gate guard thing and we ended up all sitting either next to each other or behind, i even didn't have to sit next to anyone weird (unless Marc counts). So we did the plane trip this to LA we stopped in St Louis to like get some people and drop some people before heading on we did the whole get everything done before leaving the airport to rent a car and drive all the way home.

We had lunch in this chain McDonalds like place called "Denny's" i was adequate so we asked the hotel where the biggest mall was, it was about a 15 minute drive away including mishaps but we got some quality shopping done there for clothes. We ended up dropping dad back of at the hotel and going back to do something and then go back to the hotel to just relax for a while before going to dinner at the international House of Pancakes (Ihop) Which is next door to the hotel, i only had a fruit bowl because i wasn't hungry and it was the only thing that wouldn't make me puke.

I'm blogging at 5:49am LA time :(.

Next Day

Hey, Hey blobs! While i'm walking around DC you guys will be seating your fat buts on a chair of worse couch to read my blog, now is your last chance to turn your backs and stop reading before you get sucked into my fabulous literature and don't stop till the end.

Now after i blogged early morn we had the same breakfast and yeah, so we headed out for the day to the international spy museum. It was a completely random museum with heaps of downs and a few ups ( in my opinion ) but the first hour was fantastic.

The first hour was operation spy it was for above 12 year olds but i did it anyway! My parents really had a look around because it was a bit of and athletic activity so they had look at the museum and the mall. So first we had to find a secret entrance to the fake ' Republic of Kandar ' which is in Asia. We had got briefed on our mission by rendezvous agent and introduced to our senior mission controller 'Sara' my codename was assigned '911' and we moved in. We had bugged a hotel with camera's to have a look AT A SECRET MISSION BETWEEN A SUSPECT AGENT AND A ( stupid caps key ) man in a suit. I tracked the man in the suit with macro while the rest of the agents followed the suspect agent 'Topaz'. We had to move into a decrypting room at headquarters to decipher an encrypted call from the area one voice being the man in suit the other being a SUSPECT CRIMINAL who stole a nucleur trigger from his own power plant. After the encrypted call we decided to storm his house which was empty luckily for us but we still had to deal with security. Once we were in i found the most important document in the room on confirming that he had stolen the trigger and there was going to be an exchange, it was locked in a box under a table out of view. So then it was all spy stuff from there and stuff then we got 4 out of 5 and blah, blah.

We had a look at the museum and i found it boring because i was really famished and unreasonably sad. So finally we went out to this sub-way kind of shop for lunch i had yummy items which i found yummy and itemly.

WE had a walk around Capitol and because of my high sugar levels i was fantastically bouncy! then we split up so Marc could have a cinema movie with dad and i could have a better look at the interactive room in the air and space museum! I had fun there and then mum ( mom ) wanted to have a look at a peacock room with this long boring history before we went to the hotel to blog and stuff and play TETRIS'D on the CPU but Marc and dad still aren't back from cinema!

Can't keep track of Days!

So at some day on some night we went out to this restaurant named Capitol. So it was this family laughing pub kind of restaurant with everybody laughing and talking and stuff. So it was a bit loud, anyway i ordered the ribs and they were sooo gooood!!! The had a nice rich sauce and the ribs were perfectly seasoned.

In the morning the next day u had a better un-jetlagged sleep and went down to have the same breakfast before going on a big walk around the mall area stopping at the white house, and looking at washington monument before making it to this mundane Lincon Memorial. The only highlight was eating Oreo's with double stuff!

We walked back towards the Air and Space Smithsonian Museum. We had a 20-30minute walk to get there from the Memorial so we had a lot of time to throw snowballs. Any way we got there and had a little look at the air part and i didn't much enjoy it so we kind of didn't do any more air rooms because we all they were mundane.

Next we walked (got escalated) up to floor 2 where we watched a half-hour documentry on black holes which was really intresting to hear Einstien's theroies and predictions about Time, Space.

Later we saw all these cool Space modules planetary diagrams and celestial touch downs. We went into interactive rooms where i found out my reaction time is on average about 217 milliseconds.

We ended up walking home again and i didn't get time to blog so we went out to get some dinner at some really cool meat place where they have meat on these massive metal skewers and they cut of peices for you to eat! I was pretty much literally in my happy place!

Then we got back to the hotel went to sleep and here i am blogging from like 6:30 in the morning!

Marc is nuts now

( really crazy, obsessed, possessed, chaotic, destructive, hyperventilating, red-eyed, ghastly, attacking brother right now )

So we woke up in Barcelona and got to the airport so we could leave to the US. We got on a plane to new York for a 9 hour flight then a 5 hour wait in new York then 1 hour trip to Washington then a cab to our hotel. That was that day.

Now we woke up in DC at round 5 cuz of jet lag so everyone but marc was up early in the morning, my dad had a business meeting so he ditched early to go to Virginia.

The buffet breaky the hotel served was so american. But with dad gone we decided to check out the national mall, with washinton monument, 17 DC smithsonian museums and the Capitol.

We decided to get information first at the smithsonian castle and we found that the only thing open was the engraving and note making place so we headed there. It was a decent walk to get to the museum and a small walk around inside with a guide a learnt a bit such as,
The average life span of a 1 dollar bill is 21 months
They only have 2 note making facilities
And 4 coin mints
They think they have good security
But nowhere close to the Aussie notes.

Next seeing as we Learnt that dad was scared of heights we took a trip up what was the tallest building before the Eiffel Tower and still is the tallest pure stone structure, the washinton monument. You could only see north south east and west from the top so it was pretty restricted bit you could see all the smithsonian museums and the potomac along with all other famous buildings in DC.

Next we went to our first smithsonian museum the natural history museum. First. We had a look at all the ancient mammals and how they evolved into what they are today then we saw the African religions and origins. Next we saw the ocean area where our dad met us I really enjoyed the ocean part as there we real giant squid and massive right whales.

After this we went to the dinosaur area which I also found interesting seeing all the fossils and dinosaurs I had read about come to life in virtual animations was amazing. After this we went to see the fossils Part where they had not only dinosaurs but a range of plant animal and humanoid fossils.

Then we had we had a look at more present mammals and how they had become into being. Next we had a look at my specialty the ancient marine animals the ammonites and trilobites evolving in to sea dwelling reptiles that had become the fish and sharks of modern day life.

We then had a quick look around upstairs at the geodes and world famous jewels and gems that are known by almost everyone. We saw the butterflies and human origins which was about how the human evolved in the homo sapiens sapiens that dominate the world. Did you know that you are 60% banana tree and 75% chicken.

Finally we headed back to the hotel with snowball fights along the way.

Day 28 ( or 29)

We started of the day at 8:30 and went out to have breakfast round 10:00. I really didn't like any of the breakfast so I managed till lunch without food. Anyway then we headed of to some Segarda Familia basilica that is still in construction even after 150 years!

So we got there and it was a building designed by Gaudi. This really abstract Barcelonan architect who made these weird houses and was entrusted with the construction of this cathedral I thought it was fantastic it really was the coolest looking building I had seen.

After the Gaudi church we went to see some of his houses all gothic style after lunch he had some pretty weird ideas locked up in his head. So basically we looked at his places and then went to the gothic quarter where a bought a lollipop stick. I really was a bit tired but we did buy some lolls for the plane to new York.

Then we took the train to the hotel and blogged in the lobby because our room was being cleaned.

Day 27 ( I think )

So I blogged a good breakfast from carcassonne but then we went on to the fortified part the castle.

I had loads fun running around on the battlements and diving of ledges, we went into the castle inside a castle and listened to the history carcassonne. It was interesting and loads of fun, thankfully we couldn't get lost, but if there was any way to i'm sure we could have done it.

We found a cafe inside the walled city and sat down at 11 for an extended dinner. We played a game called carcassonne on my Dad's IPhone in carcassonne I thought it was cool.

After doin another round of the outer wall we went and left for barcelona in Spain. It was a boring 3 hour drive and we got there round 5. It was the best hotel, 4-star and very classy. We left for a dinner at 7.

We had a dinner after a round on the train and a short walk before retracing our steps to the hotel to blog.

Day 25, 26 and morning of 27

For dinner we had the same dinner but this time we knew where it was and what there was so we got to try something different, i had a very good pork steak.

In the morning we rose for our last day in Rome before leaving to Nice. It was a truly fantastic day, blue skies, summer air and you get the idea, but we had a really long walk, from the hotel to the monument, from there to the oldest bridge in Rome and from there to a piazza area with fountains.

After this we took a cab back home in order to have long enough for lunch. So we got home and went to that Happy Hour that my parents went to last evening, the smell inside was gross, it was yeast ad all these weird spices all mixed in i almost got sick. So we had lunch there and i had meatballs. THen we took a cab to the airport in order to get to Nice. We then got on the plane made it to Nice and unpacked then slept after having dinner. ( WELL sort of after dinner my dad lead us on this 45min epic going round in circles and getting completely lost i mean how dumb. My dad is ~ DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB.

The next day i woke up in Nice ready for another day of getting lost in my dad's home town. We chose to walk up to the old port of Nice where all the countries had there flags up except Australia's.So we walked around which was fine, but it was raining heavily, until we had to go to lunch then my dad botched it once again. There was this hill mountain thing that we decided was faster to climb over that to go around. So we climbed over and heard this massive cannon shot it was so cool! Then once again we went down the hill only to have walked right around it. My dad is ~ DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB, DUMB. We finally got to the place where we wanted to have lunch and marc's last promised gelato.

WE got back near the hotel around 2 to rent a car to drive all the way to carcassonne and we stopped at a rest area alogn the way before finally making it with my mum doing long shifts of driving to the hotel which we just went to bed in.

I am blogging from breakfast in carcassonne which was an all you can eat buffet with mini croissants.

day 24

Hey, hey nooboids! This is Ryan Round the World reporting to you! I hope you enjoy this extremely expansive blog talking to you about Ryan and his family Roaming Round Rome! I don't think i blogged last nights dinner so i might give you a little turn of how it went!

Now it is my known saying to go Brawhahaha in the second paragraph so here goes something (i don't get it when people say here goes nothing) ~ BRAWHAHAHA, BRAWHAHAHA, BRAWHAHAHA, BRAWHAHAHA, BRAWHAHAHA, BRAWHAHAHA, BRAWHAHAHA, BRAWHAHAHA, BRAWHAHAHA, BRAWHAHAHA, BRAWHAHAHA, BRAWHAHAHA, BRAWHAHAHA.

Now last nights dinner was a bit of night 2 experience, we walked all along way seeing heaps of restaurants even studied the one we ended up going to in great detail, we turned down ones with only 2 people eating in it, we almost walked up to the train station to find a good restaurant, finally we walk all the way back almost to the convent and we go back to a restaurant a minutes walk form the convent, my family is starting to develop a skill for that. ( I really dislike unnecessary walking with my family ).

For dinner i chose to only have a 'Primi Piatti' (first course) which would fill me stomach right up! So I chose to have the rice with seafood (felt like i was back in Japan). It was fantastic and macro had a gnocchi with gross stuff. I really dislike gnocchi, apparently i had like the best gnocchi in Venice but it made me puke! (almost) (BRAWHAHAHA)

After we had finished dinner Marc had sworn he saw a gelateria place on our long aimless to find a restaurant so he takes us all the next to the railway station to a gelateria that had been closed for 2 hours i mean you think with his obsession he could tell that so we ended up not having gelato for dessert.

We got back to the convent and i fell back to sleep OH YEAH!

I woke up in the morning the next day and i'm like WOAH! look at the time it is like so early, so i fell back to sleep with a BRAWHAHAHA! Then i woke up ( and stayed up ) got ready for the day ahead of me and went down for breAKFAST (i hate the caps key) and it was the same breakfast as before those nuns are CHEAPOS they only give us bread (really hard bread) and butter with jam, and terrible tasting hot chocolate!

So we left and went to the Vatican, new country you know pretty KL, you guys don't do that every day sadly for you. So for the Vatican we had this suckish, noobful, son of a Beiber of a guide who was a boring archaeological person who had no care to go to the sisteen chapel and almost made the whole group miss it and they would have been like 'OMG YOU SON OF A BEIBER STUPID GUIDE, DIE DIE DIE!!! BRAWHAHAHA BRAWHAHAHA BRAWHAHAHA! STOOGE OF A GUIDE WE ARE ALL GONNA KILL YOU DIE DIE DIE!' (ahhh let my anger). But yeah dumb guide you know!

Inside the sisteen chapel Michaelangelo had done a bang up job painting it all but i couldn't get that Idiotic guide out of my head so it was Meh, then we went to the Crypts of the biggest church in the world 'St Paul's Basilica' the crypts we normal they had these nuns singing praises to the last pope and stuff.

Then we went to the upper level of the basilica which was humongous and as advertised had the sizes of other churches around the world. I'm kinda getting bored now so i might be briefer. We walked around the church and saw all the domes and left.

Then we went to a castle with awesome battlements and stuff before catching a cab home to blog!

Friday, January 7, 2011

Day 23

We woke up in the morning and had breakfast in the convent we were staying in before going out to the colosseum and roaming around rome. The Colosseum was ok, it was being refurbished so you couldn't go in some parts, so then we went to the Forum of Rome and dabbled around there and we went to Palantine hill which was on the same campus.

After this we took a cab to the pantheon and had lunch there as well as a gelato inside was really only a tamale to the saints. Next we went to the travi fountain which was a big water fall with some spewing animals, i threw a coin at alion and hit.

Then we went to the Spanish steps which i climbed up then sped back down, we then walked down a river saw a castle caught a cab to a circus horse race then walked back home to blog, then i accidentally deleted this rely long funny blog and i was to sad to write a good blog :(

Day 22

Brawhahahaha, didn't like me wasting your life last time did you guys, well too bad, read to the end of the paragraph, Brawhahaha.

Night 21 ~ We went out for dinner and i had ravioli, not much to it Brawhahaha.

Day 22 ~ So we woke up in florence having our last day there, before going to Rome, we really didn't have much of a plan after discussing over the hotel buffet breakfast, all we wanted to do was the Academia gallery in florence before going to Rome, the academia was kinda of a big deal because it had Michael Angelo's sculptures of King David and a couple more of his famous sculptures. So we went through there and had a look at some really odd instruments, ranging from one string to 50. There was also this really awesome chinese upside-side-down bell that made this really load sound through friction. So the bell was filled with water, you rubbed your hand in it then used the water as a friction booster so you could make louder vibrations on the handles.

After short deliberation we chose to take a 1 hour train trip to the coastal town of Toscana, Pisa. There really wasn't much doubt on what to do once we got to Pisa, we took a cab to the leaning tower of Pisa (duh). It was fantastic to see form the out side but then we booked tickets to go inside and that was awesome. I raced up the staircase (not really the person infront of me was sooo fat) and made it to the top of the leaning tower of pisa, of which you could see of pisa from. Then i sprinted backdown and we took a cab back to the station to get back to florence.

As soon as we got back to florence Marc insisted we got a gelato but seeeing as it was the end of christmas, there were massive parades going around the duomo, and we had to wait a while before getting a gelato then getting our bags and going to the station.

We boarded a train to Rome (Duh) and got to Rome (double Duh) and took a cab to our Convent (Nunary, Girl Monestary, whatever you want to call it) before ditching our packs and taking a look at the Collesseum of Rome. It was pretty fantastic we walked all the way round before Marc insisting we had another gelato ( we just had one after lunch didn't we). Then walking back home and having leftover of a boring lunch for dinner and blogging.

Day 21

Today we went to breakfast served at the hotel, basically an all you can eat buffet. It was really great with cereal, I hadn't had cereal in weeks. Anyway then we went to an art gallery which had some big sculptures and famous paintings, we stayed there for like 3 hours and it a ok. Then we walked along the bridge again before traveling to the largest brick dome in the world, the duomo.

The duomo has 463 steps leading to the very top of the viewing point, we climbed them all. Some were very steep, and it made me think that the rest of my family need to get fitter. It was amazing with the glass windows and massive paintings then all of the domain in Florence from castles to rivers, from gardens to urbanized skyscrapers it was quite amazing.

After the duomo we had lunch near our hotel, then went out for gelato. Before dumping my boring brother at the hotel because he wanted to play DS for the afternoon while the rest went walking to a big fort.

We walked up steep roads to get there but in the end it was closed because risk of falling and dying seeing as 2 people had fallen of in the passed 6 years. So we ended up going to a garden which was just walking around before walking back to the hotel and blogging.

Day 20 ( I think )

Blaxhh, I woke up really early in the morning like at 3:00am and then I fell back to sleep. I just wasted your time. Brawhahaha, unneeded info, my specialty, oh yeah, Brawhahaha, wasted 10 seconds of your life, and I am so keeping them! Brawhahaha!

Woke up and got ready, Marc is really sloth like in the morning, he is a silly person, in Paris he gets me up at 5 an in Venice, om nom nom, stay in bed 4eva. We went out 2 a bakery 2get bread ( duh! ).

My dad was having an espresso in a coffee shop, u know he is super defensive about coffee, Marc likes to tic him of by saying expresso ( Emphasis on the X.) so then he gets all angry and hypo because of all the eXpressos he has had and all the caffeine he has had, I can't see why he likes them they r so small, he had like 3 for breakfast.

After breakyfasty we went to the ghetto quarter in venice it was dumb, and pointless except for the big well in the middle of the campo and the gun shop. Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh, we stayed there for like 26min, then we went back to the monastery to check out and stuff.

Next we went to the academia art gallery where all the people had halos and this noob who we found out was called st. Sebastian, was this immortal guy who can catch arrows and not die when they poke out of him at random intervals. Marc also punched me for no random reason and my dad got angry at him and I was like owwwwww, and he was like moapy sad.

We took a boat to this church which was famous and it was really expensive so only my dad went in, but after that we went to this awesome hands on Leonardo da Vinci museum which you could test out machines based on drawings by da Vinci. I liked this big fan which was really nice and brezzy.

We bought these humongous pizza slices from metre in diameter pizza's I got 2. Then we walked randomly leading and going nowhere in particular and just dawdling, my dad was really annoying cuz he had his camera and was going snap, snap oh look t-shirt, he takes 400photos a day on average. But we did get a cool t shirt for me where a dog had homework inside.

We had to get our bags back from the monastery and go to the train station to catch a train to florence which is the train I am blogging to you from.

Day 19

Night 18 ~ For dinner on Day 18 i chose 2 have a black spaghetti ink with cuttlefish, which i knew was black, but this was literally covered in black squid ink, it was yummy, but i just thought it was revolting so i didn't digest it properly. Then i had calamari, but i had lost my appetite.

Day 19~ we slept in sort of, even though we didn't know it until 7:30. (not much of a sleep in) We brought ourselves together got ready and left by 10 past 8. We left for a small Venician island called Murano which was famous for glass blowing. We spent a while in museums and shops before buying some glass items, i got some glass lollies and a plate.

We left Murano and went back to Venice island to go to the Rialto Bridge, the most important bridge in Venice, and the only one crossing the Grand Canal for centuries. After looking in the shops and admiring the view from the Rialto bridge we went to a big dome building church which was massive and had the prophets in statues. Then we took a peak hour boat to a supermarket 2 buy dinner 4 the train 2morrow and 2 buy dinner. 4 dinner i had a big spaghetti bowl and it was fantastic, we bought a gelato ice cream for the walk home. On the way we saw this dude parking a boat and we thought he was gonna ram the boat ahead but he floored the reverse pedal and perfectly park the boat.

Day 18

After I blogged in the morning it took about one hour to get to venice. Firstly the view from the train was spectacular, but you realized that the picture of Venice in your head is the same. It is all run-down eroded building ferry, gondola, exploding platypus and caterpillar power loaders. Once we got there Marc called himself demented.

We walked about fifteen minutes to get to our monastery that we were staying at. We got there and unbackpacked. So we could start traveling for the day. We went to st. Marc square because that is the venice tourist town. We went out for pizza for breakfast and we saw this statue that most of us knew was st. Theodore killing a dragon, but Marc thought it was a fisherman standing on a gondola with a fishing spear in one hand and a fish in the other, when really he was standing on a dead dragon and he had a bloodstained spear in one hand and a shield in the other. About an hour later Marc is hallucinating about metal men moving and hitting a bell, in his blog you might get a different story, but mum and I saw it with our own eyes, I think he is a deaf blind demented platypus. We went into a massive museum with an armory full of guns, swords and fake horses. We also went to a mosaic church full of gold leaf, it basically covered the whole ceiling.

We found a gondola and thought why not so we took it for a half an hour joy ride around Venice, but it cost 80 euros so yeah. Then we spent like two hours looking for marc's non existed gelato place in Venice, he took us on a ferry and a hour walking randomly in streets where you get mugged. Finally we left for our monastery to blog.

Day 17

Woke up had the same breakfast, never got tired of that breakfast, that was the last breakfast in Paris! 2day we were leaving for Venice. My dad was kinda sick so we stayed in hotel until like 10:00am.

We left and checked out of our room and left for Montmartre, which we had to walk up like 400 steps altogether to get to. We had a walk around inside which was pretty cool, except everyone seemed to be in a trance and it was boring. Then we went to Marie France and jean-louis's place and kinda said goodbye and meet up with my Dad's 2nd cousins. We went out for hot chocolate and coffee. Then we went to the train station and I slept for a while then we boarded the 13 hour over night train to Venice. I slept then woke up in the morning. Named this noob chuck and he took our passports and right now Marc is thinking if Chuck reads this blog he is gonna come in here and say 'my name ain't chuck!
